There are several reasons land contracts are becoming more popular these days.
The seller can actually make a decent interest rate on their money (as opposed to .3% on a savings account in the bank.)
The buyer can expedite the closing process.
And for a lot of my self-employed peeps who INTENTIONALLY keep their income returns low (no need to pay big brother more than we have to right?).....this can be a unique option increase your affordability.
But just this past week I had a client place an offer on a commercial building LAND CONTRACT. And the seller is thinking it over.
I'm of the belief you will NEVER get what you don't ask for.
