A topic I’ve been going DEEP on for over a year is hyper inflation and the monster of the federal reserve.
Man….even the headline alone is enough to check people out. 🥱
“Ugh….Banking! 🤮. Can’t we just talk about something interesting?”
That’s the public sentiment….change the topic from uncomfortable to comfortable conversation.
But if the past 4 years have shown us NOTHING else it’s that hold CASH can be a very expensive thing.
If you had $100,000 in a bank account in 2020……the buying power of that $100,000 would’ve lost roughly 40-50%. Congrats. The US dollar just cost you 40k. 👎
“So where would you recommend I invest my money?”
Wrong question…..I’m not your financial adviser.
But I AM in the same boat. 🛥️
My goal is to keep little cash liquid unless I’m saving up for a big purchase (Real Estate, Business Acquisition, an Alpaca farm 🦙😏 ………ya know, big stuff.)
"But Fox, isn’t it prudent to save?"

🦊: “Great question. And since you asked I’ll give you my opinion which is in no way financial advice (ya know….to cover legal issues.)
Here’s my short list of investments.
LIFESTYLE INVESTMENTS
- Real Estate. 🏠 If you are currently renting a home/apt and you plan on staying put in your area for at least 5 years……real estate has a great track record.
- S&P 500. 📈 Warren Buffett pointed out how since 1941, the Dow Jones Industrial Average has increased from $100 to more than $30,000 (no doubt due to the inflation I mentioned), and said that most people need only put their money into “an American business” and let it grow.
“It’s amazing how hard people make what is a simple game,” Buffett said of advisors. "But of course, if they told everybody what a simple game it was, 90% of the income of the people that were speaking would disappear.” 👻
- Business acquisition. 💰
Everybody knows you can buy a building or real estate. But few people realize you can actually buy a cashflowing business!
That’s right….it’s like purchasing an ATM machine that prints money!

Boring and long investments, but tax free at the end.
